Why do we name our school Bamboo?

We believe in the strength and growth potential of every child, just as young bamboo grows so strong. When bamboo shoots are small it is not so easy to recognize their potential, however when given the opportunity to grow at the right time their strength can be enormous. This is why we have named our school 'BAMBOO' as we can see your child's promising future and as a team we will do our best to achieve this.

Logo Rationale

A house depicts a home or a natural environment for the child to be one where everything is suitable for his age and growth, where possible obstacles to his development are removed, and where he is provided with the means to exercise his growing faculties.

Six children from different continents shows that we want to provide the best education possible to all children, regardless of their racial background.

“ Bamboo ” reflects the plant bamboo in many ways. Some of the characteristics of bamboo are: It is strong but flexible, It bends without breaking and it is committed to continuous growth. These characteristics are attitudes that we hope your children will learn for a happy and successful life.

Message from founder

One of my most compelling reasons for founding Bamboo International School was my love and concern for my own children’s education. Through them, I realized that all Cambodian children deserve an international standard education to lift them on to a better society in the future. This wish was the inspiration for my unrelenting pursuit for excellence in Cambodian education.
